Finanzguru is the largest bank-independent app for better handling of your own money. My job as a Lead Product Designer (Freelance) at Finanzguru was short but intense. We started by inviting customers into the office to find out what motivates them regarding their savings. After some conceptual iterations and workshops with the whole team, we defined a clear direction which resulted in ongoing validation through user testing. In just 3 months, we built and implemented a new product area that motivates the customer through “missions” and the basic principle of gamification to handle his financial situation properly.
